Privacy Policy

FilmLook is designed for private photo editing. Your photos stay on your device.

Overview

FilmLook does not require an account. FilmLook does not include advertising or third party tracking. The app does not upload your photos to FilmLook servers.

Photos and editing

You choose the photos that FilmLook can open. Photo editing happens on your device using Apple system technology. FilmLook asks for permission to add a finished photo to your photo library only when you choose Save.

Purchases and free access

Apple processes all purchases. FilmLook uses verified purchase information from Apple to check active access. FilmLook also reads the verified original App Store purchase date on your device to calculate the three month free access period. We do not receive your payment card details.

Storage and deletion

Temporary editing and export files remain inside the protected app container. FilmLook removes temporary imported and shared files during normal cleanup. Removing FilmLook removes files stored inside its app container. Photos saved to your photo library remain there until you delete them.

Analytics, advertising, and the website

FilmLook does not include analytics, advertising software, or cross app tracking. This website does not use analytics cookies or advertising cookies.

Cloudflare hosts and protects this website. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your network address and web request details to deliver pages and help prevent abuse. This is separate from photo editing inside the app. Read Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for information about its processing.

Support messages

If you choose to email support, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use that information to answer your request and investigate the issue. Do not send private photos, passwords, or payment card details. You may ask us to delete your support messages, subject to any record keeping required by law.

Your choices

You can stop using the website at any time. You can manage photo permissions in device Settings. For personal information you choose to send to support, you can request access, correction, or deletion using the contact address below. Your local privacy rights continue to apply.

Children

FilmLook does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when FilmLook changes. The effective date at the top of this page will show the latest update.
